  Only go here if I have to and there aren't many options around. Not enough cashiers readily available, self-service lanes gone, video section gone, long lines, etc. Used to be better. Found this is typical for Safeways in area.

  With the population growth of the area and being the only large grocery store and the change of store management at corporate level now that Albertsons bought out Safeway it is ALWAYS busy....long lines and not enough stocked sometimes. Thank goodness the staff is friendly and patient. The Starbucks - although a licensed store - is the one gleaming aspect as they make a good drink and the baristas are able to take time to chat as they work efficiently due to configuration of small area. Of course, the one downfall, as with moist licensed stores, there is only one barista at a time so the line can be bad and not worth waiting in with a drive through across the street.
